The concept of Childbirth Class To Go was designed by a Childbirth Educator/Midwife in an attempt to help women with pregnancy complications. In her 20 years of experience in women's health, she realized these women didn't have any options for childbirth education once they were put on bed rest. To help these women, she put together videos and written material on topics covered in her classes for expectant mothers to take home. Once this was made available to those women on bed rest, it was clear this service appealed to many other women because of its convenience. FemmEd, Inc. is now providing this service to you with Childbirth Class To Go.

Childbirth Class To Go is an educational kit consisting of videotapes and educational material. These professionally made videotapes are those typically used by Childbirth Educators in their classes. Required viewing time is just over three hours. You simply view the tapes and read the information provided. The topics covered are labor and delivery; C-Sections; relaxation and breathing techniques; breastfeeding; postpartum care; and baby care.

We remind you that the information provided in this kit is not to
take the place of anything your healthcare provider tells you and we
encourage you to call your doctor/midwife if you have any questions.

The weekend rental fee can be paid by Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express. Any loss or damage to the kit will result in additional charges to your credit card. 

The kit is shipped two-day UPS and will arrive at your home on a designated Friday. You have the entire weekend to view the tapes, make notes and read the material. The written material is yours to keep. With the shipping supplies provided in the kit, you can easily return the REWOUND videotapes to us. 

Please remember you are responsible for the kit once it is delivered and until it is back in the hands of a UPS employee. Keep this in mind when you are selecting your delivery and return options at the time of registration.

Policies, Cost, Upgrades and Extensions

The cost of the basic kit is $59.00   The basic kit covers the information Childbirth Educator's usually instruct their class members. You can upgrade the basic kit with the tapes listed under Upgrade Tapes, thus enabling you to customize your kit. The videos may cover information specific to your situation or they may educate you on a topic you would like to learn more about. The rental period is the same as the basic Childbirth Class To Go kit. The tapes will arrive, and should be returned, with the basic kit.

The teen version, now available, includes these topics with 3 of the tapes produced specifically for teens.
